IEC Overview
The Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC) for research involving human subjects of IPGME&R and its associate SSKM Hospital came into existence on 1st December 2004. It was appointed by the then Director Prof. Prabir Kumar Sur, by the authority vested in him by the college council (Governing Body of IPGME&R, Kolkata).
